Reflections on the Life of the Spirit

A study circle to examine spiritual matters such as prayer, meditation, life after death, and the development of the soul based on the Baha'i writings. Study circles feature participatory learning and discussion with others and the use of the arts. The study circle progresses through a book in an uplifting environment conducive to the spiritual empowerment of individuals who come to see themselves as active agents of their own learning. Materials will be provided. All are welcome.

Inspiration, rejuvenation, motivation, purpose, meaning -- all are essential ingredients to one's sense that his or her life is on track, is worth living. The Word of God, say the Baha'i writings, provides inspiration, rejuvenates souls, gladdens hearts, and renews one's sense of purpose. All are welcome to this devotional gathering where prayers and the reading of the Baha'i writings and other scriptures can be shared to create an environment of unity and harmony. Prayer is a central element in all religious traditions and these meeting stress its universal nature.

Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) is a national university student movement dedicated to sharing the Catholic faith with students and equipping them for leadership. The St. Catherine Society is a campus ministry of St. Joseph’s Newman Centre. Its mission is to bring faith and scholarship to the critical issues of church and society, responding to the spiritual and intellectual questions of young adults.
Women's Spirituality Group
LocationThis is a student-led think-tank and community action group that is dedicated to tackling issues related to homelessness in the HRM.
